Moss Hall

Nursery School

Friday 20th September

It's been another lovely week at the Nursery School again with children busy relishing their play in the garden as the weather remains warm and sunny. They have been busy on adventures such as picking apples from the apple tree to observing a tree surgeon working on some nearby trees!

Also a big welcome to our new families to the Nursery School and welcome to the Friday message which has some important information for parents from the week.

Parents Handbook

Please have a look at our parents handbook which has some key information for parents about the Nursery School that they will find useful as their child starts their time with us. I would also encourage returning parents to have a read through as well.  Please see the link below.

Harvest Festival and Collection

From next week we will be starting to collect donations for Harvest in the entrance hallway at the Nursery School. This year we will be donating to St Barnabas Foodbank who support those in need in the Barnet area.

If your family celebrates a Harvest from a specific cultural tradition please do let your child's key person know, as we would be keen to share this as part of the learning experiences at the Nursery School. For example last year we had some families come in and share some photos and artefacts around Mooncake Festival.

Trip to LSO-outstanding payments

We are still waiting for a large number of the returner parents/carers who signed up for the LSO trip  to make the payment for their tickets. The deadline for this was today; please ensure you pay the £8 cost for 2 tickets on Monday.

Buggy park at the Nursery School

Please do try to remember to fold any buggy and prams when parking them in the buggy park at the outdoor entrance of the Nursery School to allow other parents/carers to fit in more buggies/prams. Please do note that buggy/prams are left at the discretion of parents/carers and we cannot take responsibility for any damage to them.

Have a lovely weekend everyone and we look forward to seeing you next week, during which the last of the remaining new children will join. We also have  Fire Friday  next week so hope to see lots of you there for our first camp-fire of the year.
