Exchange visit with a local kindergarten
The Nursery School has been developing links with a local Kindergarten which has involved exchanging visits with each other to share our learning around different cultural celebrations. We were so excited to have a group of their pupils join us for our Diwali learning and we are now also planning a reciprocal visit!
On Wednesday 11th December at 1.15pm we are planning to visit FRS Kindergarten (10 minute walk from the Nursery) to join in with their Hannukah learning. We should be back at the Nursery School at about 2.30pm. If you would like to join this visit with your child please sign up on the parents board.
Parent governor
We are still seeking one more parent governor to join the Governing Body at Moss Hall Nursery School.Parent governors work alongside other members of the governing body, which includes staff and community governors, to ensure that the Nursery School provides the best possible education and environment for its pupils. If you are interested in this role or have any questions you would like to ask about it please do come have a chat with Subpreet.
Language of the week
The nursery school has a rich variety of languages that are spoken by our children, families and staff members. This is something we highly value and celebrate at the Nursery School through our Language of the Week initiative, which will start next week. This involves the children learning greetings and families being welcomed in to share any books and/or songs in their mother tongue with the children. We will kick off language of the week with French next week; do check out the What’s Happening Next documents to see what other languages will be coming up!
Have a lovely weekend and au revoir!
