Friday 8th November
INSET Day-Friday 15th November
Do remember that next Friday will be an INSET Day for the staff and the Nursery School will be closed for the children.
The staff will be trained on how to use the RULER Approach on the INSET day, which is an evidence based approach on how to support young children’s emotional literacy and regulation. Once the staff are trained in this approach we will have parent workshops on this topic during the year. The trainer for our INSET day has also offered a limited number of parent places for the training next Friday; the timings for the training are 8.30- 4.00pm. If you would be interested in joining the staff training next Friday please come see Subpreet or email the office.

Process cooking
Process cooking is part of our adult guided curriculum at the Nursery School which focuses on process over product. It helps to support children’s independence, problem solving skills, mathematical understanding, early reading skills and concentration.
We will upload process cooking recipes onto our website after children have experienced them at Nursery so families can join in with the process cooking experiences at home as well.
This week the children have been makings rotis as part of process cooking. Please find the link for the process cooking recipe for the rotis children made this week on the link below. Happy cooking!
