At Moss Hall Nursery, we want every child to have access to high-quality early education. The government offers several childcare funding schemes to help families with the cost of nursery places for children aged 2, 3 and 4 years old.

Below is an overview of the funding options that may be available to your family.

Some 2-year-olds can receive 15 hours of funded childcare per week if their family meets certain eligibility criteria. You may qualify if you receive certain benefits, including:

Income-related Employment and Support Allowance

Support through the immigration and asylum system

Children may also qualify if they:

Have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)

Receive Disability Living Allowance

Are looked after by the local authority or have previously been in care

This funding is available for 15 hours per week for 38 weeks of the year (term time).

Parents must apply through their local council to check eligibility.
