Moss Hall Nursery Rhyme A Long

At Moss Hall Nursery we all enjoy singing and chanting rhymes with
the children and we are encouraging them to share some of them
with you at home.

Children need to feel comfortable and confident in using words. If
this is achieved children will not only develop their vocabulary but
also will have laid down a foundation to build on when they begin to
learn to read.
What better way to do this than learning rhymes together and
having some fun along the way!
You will be sent via email 4 rhyme sheets and we hope during the
month of June you will join in the fun with family and friends.
At the end of the month the children will celebrate learning the
rhymes in their key group time.

1. Hickory Dickory Dock
2. Once I caught a fish alive
3. Speckled Frogs
4. Five Currant Buns
