Meet our Governors
Brian Salinger - Chair of Governors
I have been a governor of Moss Hall Nursery School since 1986. I am the Chairman of the governors and I also chair the Resources committee. I am a former Barnet Councillor and past Mayor of our Borough. I also chair two other schools and a local Almshouse charity.
I run a local residential property management company. Myself and my wife have three children and three gorgeous grandchildren, aged 11 down to 4.
Jane Ouseley - Co-Opted Governor
My name is Jane Ouseley. I am a co-opted member of the governing body of Moss Hall Nursery School. I am a retired teacher, living locally, who taught at the nursery for more than 20 years. I feel privileged to be able to continue to support this ‘outstanding’ nursery.
Lucy Skillen - Co-Opted Governor
My name is Lucy Skillen and I joined the Governing body of Moss Hall Nursery School as a parent Governor. I have now been elected to serve as a coopted governor on the resources committee. I bring over fifteen years experience of working in Local Authorities.
Both of my children have been fortunate to attend this outstanding maintained nursery school. Being a Governor and contributing to the continued success of the Nursery School and giving back to the community is my thank you to the amazing staff who looked after and nurtured my children.
Louise Caveen - Parent Governor
My name is Louise Caveen and I have joined Moss Hall Nursery as a Parent Governor on the Curriculum and Pupil Welfare Committee. I am also the Safeguarding Governor. My professional background is in Safeguarding and Law Enforcement. I have been in the fortunate position of being able to send all three of my children to this excellent nursery in recent years and have taken up the opportunity to give something back. I hope that by supporting the nursery, I will give other children the chance to experience a first class start in their early years education.
Miranda Clifford - Parent Governor
My name is Miranda and I have been a Parent Governor on the Curriculum and Pupil Welfare Committee at Moss Hall Nursery since October 2020. My professional background is in Psychology. I enjoy working with parents, Governors and the fantastic staff team at the nursery in our shared commitment and enthusiasm to ensure that every child at the nursery thrives emotionally, intellectually and physically.
