Books, glorious, books!

This week the children have been busy reading, acting out and making up their own stories as part of our celebrations for World Book Day. 

Our core books are also  vital in the our approach to support children to become early readers, develop confidence with storybook language and interact with stories and story -telling. Please check out our YouTube channel to see some of the staff reading some of our favourite books. 

Paternity leave- Deputy Headteacher and SENCO

We are excited to share some wonderful news about Max who will be becoming a first time father in the coming weeks. I am sure you will join me in sending Max and his family well wishes during this special time. 

Around the end of April Max will be on paternity leave for 2 weeks. If there are any issues concerning your child that Max ordinarily has been supporting you with in  his role of SENCO or Deputy Headteacher that you would like a discussion about during his leave,  please come see Subpreet instead. We will keep families updated when Max has formally  started his paternity leave.

Early writing workshop and boxes!

Next week we have a parents workshop at 9.15am with Max all around supporting children to develop early writing skills.

We are also following on the children's interest in London buildings with a paper mache art project next week. If you have any long or square boxes please drop them off in the art studio.
